A Lahore Press Club (LPC) delegation called on Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani at the Governor’s House on Saturday. The prime minister also accepted the journalists’ invitation to be the chief guest in the LPC office-bearers oath-taking ceremony. The prime minister also assured the delegation of early release of LPC funds. LPC President Arshad Ansari led the delegation comprising Vice-President Shahbaz Mian, General Secretary Zulfiqar Ali Mehto, Javed Farooqi and others.
