Govt files petition in SC to review RPP case verdict

The government on Wednesday submitted a review petition in the Supreme Court against its verdict in rental power plants (RPP) case.
The apex court had declared all the rental power projects illegal and directed the government to take action against those involved in corruption, besides putting the name of former Water and Power Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf on Exit Control List (ECL).
The petition was filed by Water and Power Ministry through its lawyer Khawaja Tariq Rahim and sated that the court should review it previous decision against RPPs.

  1. Why PPP government is again going to wrong side? Only to protect its members.This is not justified and again the government benches will be shocked and beyond consideration why they bother about? Everybody knows this ppp government is corrupt and what they want to display to the nation.see again lots of big scndles will come out.
