MQM activist gunned down

An activist of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM)’s Pakhtun Organising Committee (POC) was shot dead in Orangi Town No 4 in the precincts of Peerabad police station on Tuesday.
Police said that Umar Muhammad Khan was gunned down near his residence.
The victim was shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH).
MQM chief Altaf Hussain offered condolence on the brutal murder of Khan.
Sympathising with the bereaved family, he said that he and the MQM activists share the grief equally and prayed for the divine forgiveness and eternal peace of the departed soul.
The MQM Coordination Committee strongly condemned the Khan’s murder by unidentified armed terrorists in Frontier Colony, SITE.
The coordination committee termed the brutal murder a “vicious conspiracy to sabotage the peace of the city and brotherhood among the people living in Karachi”.
