Taking notice of the pollution in Keenjhar Lake, Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah has directed the Thatta deputy commissioner and ministers and secretaries of provincial irrigation and tourism departments to take immediate remedial steps to save the lake.
The pollution at the freshwater lake is due to downside industrialisation and other contaminated water, resulting in the deaths of fish and animals at the lake.
