People caught looting belongings of crash victims

A dirty picture at the site of Bhoja Airline plane crash emerged as few people from nearby areas remained busy in looting the luggage and expensive items of the victims of the crash.
The culprits were collecting jewelry, watches, imported bags and key items of the travelers who were flying from Karachi to Islamabad Friday night.
The heirs of victims reached the capital through a special flight by Pakistan Airlines.
“How is it possible for a human being to loot money and jewelry brewed in blood and flesh of a human,” said a person at the spot. “It is disgusting to see such things around dead bodies and wreckage of a plane,” he added.
Later the culprits were caught by security officials when police reached the spot.

  18. people can be so gulliable that its funny, THE PLANE CRASHED people the temperature which it reached was enough to scatter a human body, what are the changes for the money to be not burnt? or gold to not melt? lets say few money was actually found, if people could carefully watch the chanel they will know that people from different level are actually helping and putting all such things in a bag, so that it can be furthur investigated. I wonder why are we even bother to be educated when such common sense cant be understood 🙂

  20. may be this true for all muslims….in 1965 May, a PIA plane crashed near Cairo…..in sand dunes…there were 6 survivors out of about 100people on board….a survivor told that about 30 more lives could be saved if the villagers tried rescuing the people instead of getting buy into looting the belongings of the passengers…rescue teams took four hours to reach and death toll also increased…..I remember that crash because that plane had 33 journalists from pakistan, two were my relatives….

  26. I can't believe – this is mere story – local people were the 1st at the scene to extend help to officials until army had cordened off the whole area. If any single person had done so then the whole society should not blamed and coerced. Whole Pakistan in is deep sorrow and grief on this great loss of lives. May Allah rest their souls in peace and give enourage courage and strength to the berieved families to bear this great loss. Aamin Ya Rub. May Allah help us to come out of this sort of clamities in future.

  29. Not fair to degrade animals by comparing them with wretched humans. Animals do whatever comes natural to them, and they don't have moral and immoral choices but we do. Animals kill for food when they need, but they do not steal, take bribe, kill on the name of religion, hoard more food than they need while others starve to death.

The reason behind all that is pakistani government is not providing enough funds\jobs etc to the people who are not well off, what do u expect from those people who have not eaten good food or fed thr kids for days, its not JUST the people, its the corrupt government.     The picture seems to be from inside of a house. Notice the walls….Grow up guys stop lashing out on people you have never even seen…

  78. I doubt this news. If this true then it is indeed shameful but what i have seen local people collecting these things and it was shown on TV continuously. No one said anything. Chaklala base was near and army reached there quickly. Maybe the relatives should contact authorities for the belongings. Moreover i don't believe that our police could reach on time and apprehend "culprits" so easily.

After I saw this picture, I talked to a lot of people in Pakistan and they confirmed that these people are gathering items for identification and to deliver them to the families of the dead. People in Pakistan are very upset over this accident and are in mourning!…So don't draw conclusions from just a picture!

    • Mr Verlander get a load of this…..Here in America a neighbor got evicted…her belongings thrown on the curb. The other neighbors stood there watching while the items were being thrown out by the police….as soon as the police left, these nice neighbors went looting.. saw a woman walk away with a camcorder, other picked up some paintings , others anything that got their fancy…now you tell me, were these neighbors poor or needy? No, they were just greedy, and thieves, and this happened right here in good old USA. So don't tell me that you all are any better than anyone else in the world…you all just want to feel superior, but guess what,…wrong! What happened during the hurricane that hit New Orleans…people had a field day looting…what happened in UK, there too people looted shops and even stole a sandwich from someone who was injured!     We all were shocked at that moment through out the country / world & even can't slept properly whole night. How is it possible for the people present at the spot do such things? It was dark every where at the spot & lights made possible after arrival of rescue teams.
