A vigilance committee in Lahore has caught two girls taking their BA English exam in the comfort of their homes. According to a spokesperson of Punjab University, a committee was formed headed by Controller Examination Dr Liaquat Ali after a student named Shanzay Sadiq was earlier caught attempting her exam at home. Shanzay used to take the answer sheet home a night before the exam and take the question paper half an hour before the paper started. She would fill her answer sheet for three hours at home and would return the paper to her centre. The committee received a tip-off about two girls in Lahore involved in a similar activity.
The committee raided their exam centre before the girls arrived to submit their papers to the staff. According to initial reports, the superintendent and additional superintendent both were allegedly involved in this case. The records of the college have been seized by concerned authorities to investigate the matter further.
