The actor-cum humanitarian Salman Khan is constantly on the lookout to do things that help the society. According to the reports, the Dabangg actor has decided to do the second schedule of his upcoming film Dabangg 2 in Kashmir.
The idea to do the shooting in Kashmir is to help boost tourism in the state. Last year Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra had said that the valley would become the first choice for shooting films again. In the last few years, there has been an upliftment in the state of Kashmir and we have seen Bollywood directors going back to the state for shooting.
During 1960 to 1980, Kashmir was a prime location for most bollywood films. Some of the very popular films shot in Kashmir include Junglee (1961), Kashmir ki Kali (1964), Mere Sanam (1965), Kal Aaj Aur Kal (1971) and Bobby (1973).
Some of the recent films shot in the state are Jimmy Shergill and Minissha Lamba starrer ‘Yahaan’, Sanjay Dutt and Bipasha Basu starrer ‘Lamha’, Vishal Bharadwaj’s ‘Saat Khoon Maaf’, Piyush Jha’s ‘Sikandar’ and Ranbir Kapoor and Nargis Fakhri starrer ‘Rockstar’.

  1. "actor cum humanitarian…"……. who are you kidding??? The guy is a decent actor in certain kind of roles, but considering his background can hardly call him human……. Doesnt anyone remember him killing deer of some endangered species??? Hardly qualifies as humanitarian…..
