Seeds move into next round of Model Town Tennis

All seeded players through in 3rd Atlas Honda Cup Tennis Championship here at K-21 Club Model Town Lahore. Today session was started at 10 am with remaining and un-finished matches of 1rst round. All three top seeded players of Pakistan Tennis ie Aqeel khan, Jalil Khan and Yasir Khan who have arrived at K-21 Club straight from Philippines after playing Davis Cup Tie won their matches with ease expect yasir Khan who had to put some extra effort to beat Khuram Nazir .
Rao Akbar Latif President K-21 Club told the media today that it is a matter of great satisfaction that Atlas Honda is cooperating and promoting the game of tennis and now its 3rd year that Atlas Honda comes up as main Sponsor. Rao Akbar thanked the Atlas Honda for sponsoring this mega event at national level. He emphasized that in particular multi national companies especially telecommunication sector should come forward to play their role in the promotion of sports as they earn handsomely from this country .
“I am delighted as ever to be part of Atlas Honda Cup as this is one of the best tournament across the country Aqeel told today , Tournament arrangements are fantastic , even bounce on lush green courts are result of management’s hard work which results in attracting huge number of entries in this event “ he added. Although ,I have been continuously practicing on clay court because of the Davis Cup tie but I am quite confident that I shall be able to manage here on grass court shifting said Aqeel Khan.
