SC moved to permanently ban NATO supply

A petition has been filed in the Supreme Court on Wednesday, seeking permanent ban on NATO supply.
Barrister Zafarullah filed the petition in the Supreme Court, Lahore Registry, contending that the government is consulting with coalition partners and other political parties on US pressure to restore NATO supply.
He prayed the court to slap ban on NATO supply route on permanent basis because its restoration will add fuel to hate and prompt more incidents of terrorism in the country.

  1. If the SC has to rule on every issue in the country then there is not need to have a governement in place. :Let the lawyers rule the country.

  2. What rubbish. This just adds to the 0.2 million outstanding cases. Its not the SC's job to decide these issues.

  3. This is government issue, not for the courts unless there is proven under table dealing for corruption or treason. As there is no agreement yet, court can not ban something that hasnt happened!
