According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan, 22 percent voters say they choose a candidate based on his political party. A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked “What is the most important reason for which you have chosen the candidate you want to vote for in the upcoming elections? I am giving you seven options, kindly think and tell me which one is most important for you.” Responding to this 22 percent claim that they intend to vote for the candidate based on his/her
