Wife pays the price for killing husband

Unidentified armed men gunned down a youth on Sunday and fled the scene. The police arrested four culprits including wife involved in murder of a rickshaw driver.
According to details, unidentified armed men shot dead a motorcyclist youth identified as Umer alias Billi in Praimgali area of Noulakha. The police feared the deceased was shot dead by his friends over personal dispute.
Incharge investigation Nishtar Police Adil Khacchi said that the police arrested a woman Shazia along with three accomplices for alleged involvement in assassination her husband and recovered the weapon used in the crime.
Javed, a rickshaw driver, was stabbed to death in March allegedly by his wife who was interested in another man. She tried to avoid the blame by terming it result of resistance during robbery but was held by police. Meanwhile, fire caused due to unknown reason gutted a toys godown and adjoining house causing millions of rupee losses. Fire Brigade personnel reached the scene and brought the fire under control after three-hour hectic efforts.
SUICIDE: A woman committed suicide by self-immolation in Kahna area on Sunday. The deceased was identified as Humaira Bibi, wife of Sarfraz of Sueasil. Police said that Humaira did not have good relations with her mother-in-law Khurshid Bibi and her husband’s brothers. On the day of incident, Humaira beat up her mother-in-law, upon which her husband got infuriated over the incident and condemned her. Humaira got disappointed and set herself ablaze, as a result of which she received serious burns. She was taken to a local hospital where she succumbed to her burns.
MURDER: A 22-year-old youth was killed by some unidentified persons in Naulakha area on Sunday. The deceased was identified as Umar alias Billi of Branderth Road. The victim’s body bore marks of torture which suggested that he had been subjected to severe torture, resulting into his death. The victim’s body lying in Praim Galli was spotted by the locals who later informed the police.
FIRE: Toys worth lakhs of rupees were reduced to ashes when fire broke out in a toy godown in Moochi Gate area on Sunday. Cause of fire was said to be short circuit. Meanwhile, fire broke out in a shop in Subzimandi due to short circuit. Firefighters rushed to the scenes and extinguished fire after hectic efforts.
