Riphah International University organized first inter-medical college physiology quiz competition in Islamabad.
Islamic International Medical Colleges is a constituent department of Riphah International University which organized first inter-medical college physiology quiz competition here on Saturday at its main campus.
The students from thirteen medical colleges of Islamabad, Rawalpindi and other cities participated in this grand quiz competition. The event was enthusiastically participated and the teams gave tough time to each other for proceeding to the higher rounds as all were well prepared. The students of Foundation University Medical College got first position while the students of Army Medical College obtained second position. The students of Ayub Medical College acquired third position in the quiz competition.
Mr Hassan M Khan, Pro Chancellor, Riphah International University was the chief guest on the occasion. He appreciated the initiative taken by RIU and emphasized the need for organizing such exciting events on regular basis. He suggested that more such events can be replicated in other disciplines as well. He also thanked all the participating teams coming from far off places and participated in the competition. He distributed Certificates and Shields among the winner.
The Principal of Islamic International Medical College Prof Maj Gen (R) Masood Anwar, in his opening remarks, stressed the importance of physiology in medicine and advised the students to work hard and must participate in such events as these are organized to promote understanding of the subject.
Quiz competition is a very fun and knowledgeable game. I think such contest improves brain memory and I highly appreciate Riphah University for organizing such quiz competition. Thanks
