Two persons, including a police cop, were killed in separate firing incident in different area of Balochistan on Saturday.
According to details, during quarrel at a bus terminal located at Saryab Road an accused opened fire critically injuring a bus driver. The injured was rushed to hospital where he succumbed to his wounds during treatment.
Saryab road has become the hub of terrorist activities and most of the firing incidents and killings are taking place there.
Transporters blocked the Saryab Road and held protest demonstration against the incident. Traffic remained suspended for several hours and long queues were seen on both sides of the road.
Meanwhile, in main bazaar of Qalat, unknown armed men opened fire at a police ASI killing him on the spot and fled the scene. The police said that shooting incident could be outcome of personal enmity.
Separate cases in both incidents have been registered at concerned police stations and police have started search for the culprits.
