Shahid Kapoor is surely the epitome of forgetfulness. Letting bygones be, he not only paired up with ex-flame Priyanka Chopra for Kunal Kohli’s ‘Teri Meri Kahaani’, but now is all set to work with PC’s cousin, Parineeti, in Maneesh Sharma’s next. The ‘Band Baaja Baaraat’ director has finalised Parineeti, who debuted with Ranveer Singh in ‘Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl’, for his film. A source said: “Maneesh loved Parineeti’s performance in her first film. She stole the limelight from the other female actors. And that’s why he chose her for his film though many others were being considered for the role.” About Parineeti’s character in this project, the source said, “She plays a feisty girl. Her character in ‘Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl’ was also quite lively.” Apart from Parineeti, the film will star another leading female actor. According to sources from the industry, Rani Mukerji had been offered the role, but now, Tabu is most likely to step in. The film will be shot entirely in Jaipur.
