Model Town Club scored highest total of Sprite League against Young Krishan Nagar on Wednesday at the Ittefaq Ground. LCCA Model Town Club beat Young Krishan Nagar Club by a big margin of 462 runs and set many records in limited overs cricket of the League. Model Town scored a total of 550/2 in 40 overs with help of double centuries of Sohail Ahmed (250) not out on just 132 balls and Haroon Rasheed (250) on 110 balls. Sohail hit 45 fours and 3 sixes while Haroon got 44 fours and 6 sixes in his inning. Young Krishan Nagar Club could manage only 25.1 overs and bowled out on just 88 runs. Saad Naseem took 3/8 in 4.5 overs, Mustafa Iqbal took 2/39 and Mohsin Naveed took 2/10 for Model Town Club.
