The commuters are facing problems in federal capital due to absence of proper bus stops particularly on Islamabad Highway. Hundreds of commuters use local transport for traveling in the city, but observed the commuters are waiting on the roadside facing harsh weather conditions and putting their life on risk. The commuters were of the view that the civic body yet to install over-head bridges on the main crossing points particularly Zero Point Interchange. Muhammad Ali, a commuter waiting at Zero Point bus stop said that he always waiting on footpath or the roadside for transport due to absence of proper bus stop. He said in the forthcoming summer season and after monsoon rains it will be difficult for commuters to wait in the scorching heat without sheds and protect them from the downpour.
