The curious case of putrefied bodies

Two putrefied bodies of females were found from BRB canal near Batapur Police precincts on Monday. SI Sikandar said that two bodies of middle aged females were found from BRB canal near Wara Pull. He added that both bodies were several days old so their identity could not be made so far. The official further said that one woman was of around 30 years of age while the other was of 25 years of age. He said that one of the two bodies seemed to be older than the other as the woman had no skin, no hairs and clothes. He said that other woman was wearing red cloths. He said that announcements were made in the area to identify the bodies. However, nobody turned up to claim. The body has been sent to morgue for autopsy to ascertain the cause of their death.
Similarly A body of a man was found from River Ravi in the Shahdra Police precincts. Police officials said that the body of a 60 years old man was found floating in the River Ravi. They said that body was fished out of the river after it was spotted by locals. They said that the body of deceased was around seven days old and was in unidentifiable condition. They said that announcements were made in the area to identify the body but to no avail. They said that the body has been shifted to morgue for autopsy.
GIRL KILLED: Unidentified killers killed a 28-year-old girl with repeated hits of iron roads in the Factory Area Police precincts on Monday.
The deceased was identified Sadia Basheer, a resident of Nausher Colony. The police said that Sadia was sleeping inside her house when some unidentified killers climbed into their house and attacked Sadia. The police said that killers thrashed Sadia with repeated hits of iron rods due to which she sustained serious injuries. Sadia’s parents rushed out of their room to help Sadia but the killers have managed in escaping from the scene safely. They rushed Sadia to a nearby hospital for medical where she died. Police removed the body of the deceased to morgue and registered a murder.
The police said that Sadia’s heirs have blamed their neighbour Taj Din and his family for murdering Sadia. However investigation will actually help in finding out the real killers.
FIRE: Valuables worth five hundred thousand rupees were reduced to ashes in separate fire cases in the City on Monday.
Firefighters said that fire broke out at a printing press situated at Polimar Building opposite Veterinary Hospital due to short circuiting. They said that fire fighters were dispatched immediately and they controlled over fire after three hours consecutive effort. Valuables worth three hundred thousand rupees were reduced to ashes in the said incident.
In another incident, fire broke out at a house situated on Rawind Road, due to short circuiting. Valuables worth two hundred thousand rupees were destroyed in flames. However, rescuers controlled over the fire and saved the house from huge loss.
SHOT INJURED: A man shot sustained injuries when he triggered a pistol accidentally while cleaning it in the Shahdra Police Precincts on Monday.
Police officials said that Jamshaid Ilyas, 22, resident of Shahdra near Faisal Bank was cleaning his gun when he pushed the trigger assuming the chamber to be empty. They said that he was shifted to Mayo Hospital where he was treated for his wounds. They said that no police complaint of the case has been lodged in this regard.
SWINDLING: Swindlers looted three persons after giving them poisonous food in different parts of City on Monday.
Police officials said that two men identified as Imran Rehman, 25, and Shahbaz Din, 16, were found unconscious near Morr Samnabad. They said that both were given poisonous substance to eat by swindlers who later deprived them of their valuables. Both were moved to Mian Munchi Hospital where they were reported unconscious till the filling of this report.
In another incident, Khaliq-Ur-Rehman, 18, was found unconscious at Haidri Hotel near Yateem Chowk. He was moved to Sir Ganga Ram Hotel where he told the police that he was deprived of his valuables by a swindler, who had offered him free intoxicated juice.
ACCIDENT: Two people sustained injuries after a rickshaw collided with a speeding van in the Shahdra Police precincts on Monday.
A police official said that Nasir, 23, the driver of a rickshaw and Aasia, 33, a passenger, received injuries when the rickshaw collided with a speeding van near Imamia Colony. He added said that speeding van soon after the accident fled the scene. However, both injured were rushed to Mayo Hospital where
