Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Chief Mian Nawaz Sharif on Friday said his party will never back up any such decision that may fuel the public’s anger.
Addressing a consultation meeting with the party’s high-ups at Punjab House here, he said the nation has not thus far forgot the incidents like missile strikes and the US attack on Salala check post.
Numerous leaders including Raja Zafarul Haq, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Ishaq Dar, Zafar Iqbal Jhagra, Mehtab Abbasi, Khwaja Asif and Mushahidullah attended the meeting.
The PML-N chief Sharif noted his party does not support to further its politics over issue regarding restoration of the NATO supplies; however he added that the sentiments of the country’s people cannot be overlooked either.
Why an American goon like him would "politicize NATO supplies". Nawaz Sharif has a history of protecting American interests in Pakistan. As Prime Minister he allowed US to fire Cruise Missiles from Arabian sea through Pakistan's air space. Right in the middle of Kargil episode, he showed his back and fled to America, pleading President Clinton to give him protection as result Pakistan lost a sure victory in a strategic war with India, when Kashmir almost had come in our hands. Now when time has come to take a firm stand; he once again beating about the bush.
