Qadri said the ST would serve Pakistan per the commitment of the elders who gathered at the same venue in 1940 to pass historic Pakistan resolution.
He said it was high time that Pakistan be saved from elements living in and outside it and conspiring against it.

He said anti-state and extremist elements were active in political forces whose agenda was to tarnish the image of Pakistan besides creating a divide among people which was not acceptable at any cost. He also said political parties had become family fief and ST would not accept it.
Meanwhile ST members and their allies presented and passed several resolutions on this occasion, which included: Reversing Pakistan position’s on giving MFN status to India, bringing Pervez Musharraf in a court of law for prosecution in Akbar Bugti’s assassination, declaring of unscheduled load shedding of electricity and gas and adopting discriminatory attitude with Punjab on this count was against the national interest.

They condemned target killings in Karachi and Balochistan through yet another resolution, besides demanding of the Punjab government to give the portfolio of health to a capable person to contain the incidents of deaths due to spurious medicines and dengue epidemic. They warned the government through another resolution for taking a decision of their choice if the government failed to arrest the culprits involved in suicide attacks on shrines and assassinated Dr Sarfaraz Hussain Naeemi.
The participants of the conference demanded through a resolution that the gang war between Sindh government backed groups and land mafia should end, warning that the people would not sit silently anymore, besides release of Mumtaz Hussain Qadri through yet another resolution.
Other leaders of ST also addressed the conference and hailed late Allama Sarfaraz Naeemi and Mumtaz Qadri.
