Three people, including two policemen, were injured when unidentified gunmen assailed the vehicle of Mohajir Qaumi Movement-Haqiqi (MQM-H) chief Afaq Ahmed on Saturday, police officials said. They said the MQM-H chief was not present in the vehicle when it was attacked at a petrol pump in the Quaidabad area of Karachi on Saturday morning. The injured policemen were shifted to Jinnah Hospital. A large number of MQM-H workers gathered outside the hospital and demanded the government to take action against the culprits. Afaq Ahmed condemned the incident, saying his enemies wanted to eliminate him.
