Two members of car lifter gang were killed in exchange of fire with police here late Friday night.
According to details, the police chased two armed men who were fleeing after snatching a car from Sabzazar area and encircled them in Ashiq Chowk area of Johar Town.
The police asked the car lifters to lay down arms and surrender but they started firing at police. In retaliatory fire, both of them were killed.
The culprits killed in the fire exchange were wanted by different police stations in numbers of cases of robberies, car lifting and motorcycles snatching.
Hello, I have seen this fake encounter from my house window… This is totally fake encounter. Please brought the people here in Johart town, and then killed them. Look at this news "The police asked the car lifters to lay down arms and surrender but they started firing at police" and fortunately all police officers saved & two car lifters killed. What a great pakistani police… I heard the fire and than loud voices, and immediately saw the window of my house, and I saw couple of police officers (not One or two) in civil dress doing firing in air….and making noise…. This is very wrong….i dont believe in Pakistani police.
