Balochistan: CJP again seeks report from CS, IGP

The Supreme Court again sought reports on Tuesday from Balochistan chief secretary and IGP regarding kidnapping and target killing in Balochistan and asked the government to ensure his writ instead of wasting time.
A three-member bench of the Supreme Court headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry resumed the hearing of kidnapping and poor law and order in Balochistan.
The CJ expressed his annoyance over the missing of Hmazn Advocate and summoned Balochstan IG on next hearing.
In his remarks, the CJ said that IG was responsible for maintenance of law and order but he mostly remains in Islamabad.
Baloch were more patriotic from others, notable dignitaries should be taken on board for the solution of issue, he added.
Balochistan Advocate General Amanullah said that the state affairs in Balochistan were getting better while we were trying to control kidnapping and target killing incidents in the province.
The CJ advised the officials to show serious concern on the issue. The court also sought report regarding proceedings in murder case of Mukhtar Domki’s family members. The court adjourned the hearing till March 22.
