Hashmi appointed PTI president

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) senior leader, Javed Hashmi, has been appointed as president of the party. The decision was announced during a press conference attended by Imran Khan and other senior party leaders on Monday. Hashmi, said that the party would work against corruption and for strengthening democracy. The new PTI president would have a say in decisions related to awarding party tickets to members. Hashmi also welcomed the workers of the Pakistan Democratic Party (PDP), which has recently merged into the PTI. According to a source, Hashmi has played an important role in convincing PDP President Nawabzada Masoor to merge his party into the PTI.

    Hashmi has lot more political experience to make election’s candidates,
    i hope tht he will select those who he expected to become through the ordeals and work only for the bright future of pakistan

  24. Delighted to know that Javed Hashmi sb has been nominated as the President of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. Such an important personality needs proper acknowledgment.
    the Chairman still remains the head of the party.For the "critics" again – Party election process is in the works – so for the time being this is a nomination as like other positons – March 25th hopefully we embark on the membership drive and roughly a few months later we go through the elections
