Osama’s wives are not deported: Malik

Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik said on Monday that wives of slain Al Qaida chief Osama Bin Laden have not been deported to any country.
“They all are in judicial custody and have not been deported to any country. We are providing them every facility in Pakistan,” Malik told reporters in Karachi.
Answering a question he lashed out at the opposition for protesting during President Asif Ali Zardari’s address to the joint parliament session on Saturday, and appealed the Supreme Court to take a suo moto notice of ‘derogatory remarks’ used against the president by the opposition leaders.
About the ongoing police and Rangers action in Layari against criminal elements, the minister affirmed that writ of the government “will be established in Layari at all cost”.
He said an operation would also be launched against extortion mafia and those selling snatched mobile phones in the city.
Malik disclosed that more than 2 million mobile SIMs were reactivated after being jammed by the cell phone companies.
He said steps were being taken to curb diesel smug from Iran.

  1. LoL..Malik should also provide proof as to which of Osama's wives he is referring to. With his statements, he always seems like just woken up from deep sleep.
