Ameer Jamaat e Islami, Syed Munawar Hasan on Friday impressed upon the Supreme Court of Pakistan to order PM Gilani’s arrest over contempt charges and award him a punishment so that no body could dare ridicule the constitution and the judiciary in future. Talking to media after inaugurating the newly built Masjid e Qartaba at GT Road in Gujrat, he said that Prime Minister’s contemptuous remarks against the apex court deserved more than simple imprisonment sentence. Talking at the occasion, Prof. Khurshid Ahmad, Naib Amir of JI, also expressed his grief and shock on the statement of PM Gilani, in which he said that he was being treated as a ‘Peon’ and not a ‘PM’, thus openly insulting the Supreme Court. He reminded the PM that a ‘Peon’ and ‘PM’ were equal before the law, as provided in the Article 4 of the Constitution.

  1. Mr. Peon is human being. He suffer every day to meet both end meet when a crook like you enjoy life with looted money. Peon is worthy of more respect than a crook and jackass like. Maybe the best place for you is jail here and hell after you are dead.
