A court sent Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah’s brother-in-law on remand in police custody on Tuesday. Rana Tauseef was sent on remand for a day along with his 18 accomplices, who were accused of firing at the Faisalabad Press Club. Two days ago, two groups of journalists clashed in front of the FPC. Afterwards, a group opened fire and created panic in the area. A private TV channel showed the CCTV footage of the attack in which Tauseef was seen passing on guns from behind the boot of a van to his accomplices. Faisalabad-based journalists said that Tauseef used Sanaullah’s name to create a rift between journalists.
