Former Pakistani ambassador to the US Hussain Haqqani’s lawyer Syed Zahid Hussain Bokhari on Tuesday left for London to cross examine US national Mansoor Ijaz in the memo scandal. Zahid’s decision to go to London came after much anticipation. Earlier, he was not able to tell in clear terms to the memo commission about his plan to go to London or remain in Pakistan for Ijaz’s cross examination. The memo commission would resume its hearing on Thursday at the Islamabad High Court when Zahid would start cross examining of Ijaz.
