Some people from Punjab’s Attock district announced on Tuesday that they are joining the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM).
Noor Badshah, Malik Mazhar, Essa Khan Khattak, Niaz Ali Mulk and other leaders of communities from Attock had arrived in Karachi and they met with Sindh Commerce and Industries Minister Rauf Siddiqui.
They announced their decision at a press conference at the Karachi Press Club. The new MQM members said the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and other political parties have disappointed the people and have not done anything for the masses for 64 years.
“We are very impressed with the leadership, bravery, and philosophy of. Altaf Hussain and that is why joining the MQM. It is the only party in which everyone is considered equal, and we will struggle for our rights under the leadership of the MQM chief to make Attock the fort of the party like Karachi,” they said.

  1. What a publicity gimmick by the MQM goebbels'
Few Attockians apparently join an ethnic orgnanisation and the propagandists including Pakistan Today join a chorus to declare MQM a national party.
