Punjab College takes gold in declamations

The Punjab group of Colleges grabbed the final round of All Pakistan Bilingual Declamation (APBD) held at MAO College, Lahore. More than 16 teams, hailing from different provincial educational institutions, participated in it. Khawaja Saad Rafiq, member National Assebly (MNA), was the guest of honour for the final day. The judges of the event included Prof Dr Farhan Ebadat Yar Khan, Principal MAO College, Prof Dr Sabieh Anwar of LUMS and Mr Muhammad Siddique Awan, Incharge Debating Society, GCU Lahore.
Punjab College Lahore won the trophy, while Almas Sabieh of GCU Lahore stood first in Urdu and Rabia Zia of King Edword Medical College won the first prize in English. Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest highlighted the role of co-curricular activities in grooming mental faculties of the students and appreciated the MAO administration in this regard.
