Michael Jackson may have passed away, but that doesn’t mean his name — and music — aren’t bringing in millions at the box office. ‘Michael Jackson: The Immortal,’ Cirque du Soleil’s tribute to the late singer brought in an astounding $2,362,502 over the past three months — more than any other touring concert act. This comes as good news for Michael Jackson’s estate, after hackers stole the entirety of his musical catalog from Sony’s computer systems earlier this week.Kanye West and Jay-Z’s ‘Watch The Throne’ tour came in second.
“Michael Jackson: The Immortal” wasn’t the only Cirque du Soleil show to make it on the chart. Cirque’s productions ‘Dralion’ and ‘Quidam’ came in third and fourth on the chart, respectively. Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band rounded out the top five.Other notable acts in the top 20 include Blake Shelton who debuted on the list at the ninth spot. Miranda Lambert, Lady Antebellum and punk band Rise Against.
Truly amazing. Well it is like what PastorMatt said in church. Focus on God and put him first before all things. When you do, there will be resistance. That brings us to maturity. We must remain faithful, trusting God, and hoping.
In the case of people like Elvis Presley, Whitney Houston, and Michael Jackson they sre so gifted and talented…when God gives you s real gifted talent no but God can take ot grom you. There may ne jolts…but the gift and legacy lives on inspiring others and making change. I do believe these music artists are being used by God in heaven for what awaits each of us who believe with awesome praise and worship for our King- Jesus-God-and Holy Spirit.
