Jamaat-e-Islami chief Syed Munawar Hasan has said that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has not shown keen interest in making an alliance with his party but the JI was in contact with all parties in this regard. Talking to members of Okara Press Club on the telephone on Saturday, Munawar said that a way out could have been found if Nawaz Sharif had convened another meeting of the opposition parties. He accused the PML-N of supporting the government on the 20th Constitutional Amendment. Munawar said that the issue of distribution of money by the ISI among the political parties was in the Supreme Court and the court’s verdict in this regard should be implemented, whatever it may be.
