The Environment Protection Department (EPD) of the City District Government Lahore issued directions to a commercial unit to remedy grievances of the residents of the area. According to EPD sources, in the area of Darogawala, a furniture making unit was a source of noise and residents had complained. EPD issued directions to the owner under section 146-2 of Punjab Local Government Ordinance-2001 to redress the grievance of residents or else the unit would be shut down.
