At least four members of a family, including two women, were killed and two others sustained injuries in firing by unidentified armed men in Tehkal area of Peshawar on Thursday.
According to details, some unidentified persons entered the house of Jamal and strangulated his mother to death in Tehkal area of Peshawar. The attackers then opened indiscriminate fire on other family members, killing Jamal’s wife and his two relatives Bilal and Sahab Syed.
The armed attackers also injured Jamal and one of his relatives. Police arrived at the spot and moved bodies to Khyber Medical Centre for autopsy.
The injured were rushed to Khyber Teaching Hospital Peshawar for medical aid. Police have also started investigation.
