The Sindh police have decided to set up new or renovate existing schools within the limits of police lines throughout the province on public-private partnership basis to impart standard education, especially to the children of police employees. This was decided at a meeting held under the chairmanship of Sindh Inspector General of Police Mushtaq Ahmed Shah at the Central Police Office.
The participants of the meeting reviewed various welfare projects for the employees of the police department.
Shah instructed that free medical facilities should be provided to the employees and families of the police department by upgrading the existing medical structure. He also stressed the need to establish police dispensaries in all districts to facilitate police personnel and their families. The participants of the meeting also discussed at length about starting medical insurance cards scheme for the employees.
