Jamaat-e-Islami chief Munawar Hasan has said Muslim rulers who are supporting the US and the West in its anti-Islam designs are destined to meet a fate worse than that of Egypt’s Hosni Mubarak. “If the Zardaris and Gilanis do not change their outlook, their fate won’t be different from that of the rulers of Tunisia, Morocco and Libya,” Hasan warned while inaugurating Syed Maudoodi Academy at the residence of Syed Abul Ala Maudoodi, founder of the JI on Monday. The JI chief said after the defeat of socialism and capitalism, the US’s New World Order would also fail and the future was with Islam alone. He said the self-styled civilised US and its allies were shedding the blood of the Muslims and indulging in blasphemy of the holy Prophet (PBUH) and desecration of the holy Quran in a planned manner to obstruct the advancement of Islam but their fretfulness was pulling them down in degradation.
He said history has seen that the tyrants and dictators who tried to check the spread of Islam’s message had failed in their designs. Socialism and communism had failed and proved their helplessness in resolving mankind’s problems and the US was perturbed over Islam’s popularity and trying to thrust its World Order on the world through brute force. Despite its humiliating defeat in Afghanistan and despite receiving coffins of its troops from there, the US was not ready to give up. He said the US was openly supporting India against the Kashmiris and Israel against the Palestinians while the cowardly Muslim rulers were siding with the US.
