LAHORE – The Lahore High Court Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed Friday adjourned on request for two weeks, further hearing of the petitions filed earlier against the compulsory production of B-Form of Nadra, with the admission form for ninth and tenth class examination being conducted by various Boards in Punjab.
The petitions have been filed by parents of the students through Muhammad Azhar Siddique pinpointing many troubles and difficulties in acquiring the B-form and that took against payment.
The petitioners contend, this hardship and payment is contrary to the government slogan ‘free and education for all’ and amounts to discouraging the students who do not have means to get that form. The petitioners argued that the proper time of seeking B-form is at the time students get admission to an institution and not at the time they have to appear in the examination whereof academic future of a huge number has been jeopardised. On the request made by counsel for BISE Lahore, the court allowed adjournment for two weeks.
