LAHORE – Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has reshuffled and promoted senior officials from the top management. A national flag carrier handout states that Corporate Planning Director Shahnawaz Rehman has been given an additional charge of HR Administration and Coordination Director, upon the retirement of Haneef Pathan, who is proceeding on leave preparatory retirement (LPR). Shanawaz Rehman has been associated with PIA for over 30 years and held various key positions in the airline, including Director Financial Monitoring and Appraisal.
Training and Development Senior General Manager Khalid Iftikhar has been promoted and posted as Procurement and Logistics Director. He also the airline experience of more than 30 years, Jeddah Country Manager Khurram Mushtaq has been promoted and posted as Passengers Sales General Manager. He will take charge of the new assignment upon retirement of Rashid Farookee by the end of this month. Special Assistant to Managing Director M Younus Khan has also been transferred as Principal PIA Training Centre.
