The federal government is sincere in solving the issues of Balochistan due to which it is considering convening an All Parties Conference (APC), PPP leader Senator Dr Babar Awan said on Tuesday. Talking to journalists outside the Punjab Assembly along with Punjab Opposition Leader Raja Riaz, Awan said that the Bugti murder case’s hearing should be held on a daily basis, as it could prove vital in healing wounds of the Baloch. He said that the PPP and PML-N President Nawaz Sharif were on the same page regarding effectiveness of the APC on Balochistan. The former federal law minister said that steps recommended by the committee formed to review the Balochistan situation would not be ignored. The PPP leader said that Balochistan remained a top priority of the federal government, which always supported dialogue for the issue. “The use of force never remained a priority of the government,” he said, adding that the PPP government gave thousands of jobs and billions of rupees through the NFC Award.
