‘770,405 children vaccinated against hepatitis B since Feb 13’

A total of 770,405 children have been vaccinated against hepatitis B during a campaign launched between February 13 and 25, Sindh Hepatitis Prevention and Control Programme Manager Dr Abdul Majeed Chhutto said in a statement issued on Monday. Giving figures, he said 75,243 children were vaccinated in Matiari district, 56,650 in Jamshoro, 49,595 in Tando Allahyar, 77,684 in Dadu, 53,161 in Badin, 80,996 in Hyderabad and 25,517 in Tando Muhammad Khan. In Karachi region, 31,033 children were vaccinated in Liaquatabad Town, 14,234 in Gulberg Town, 38,579 in North Karachi Town, 12,596 in Gulshan-e-Iqbal Town, 19,011 in Shah Faisal Town, 30,595 in Jamshed Town, 20,814 in Korangi Town, 21,949 in Landhi Town, 12,688 in Baldia Town, 8,874 in SITE Town, 19,651 in Orangi Town, 10,580 in Keamari Town, 27,698 in Saddar Town, 24,478 in Lyari Town, 20,018 in Malir Town, 10,151 in Bin Qasim Town and 18,358 in Gadap Town.
