Sino-Pak Friendship is deep-rooted and time-tested and bilateral relations between the two countries are as deep as an ocean and as high as the Himalayas, Punjab Governor Latif Khosa said on Sunday.
He was talking to a seven-member Chinese delegation led by former Chinese ambassador to Pakistan Zhou Gang. The governor said that China was a remarkable country with a flourishing economy and noted for its splendid progress and development. He said that Pakistan’s needed China’s cooperation and technical assistance in the energy sector. Khosa said that no country could achieve its economic goals without acquiring the wealth of energy, adding that China’s support was imperative in development of the economy, especially in the education and energy sectors.
The governor said that both countries were enjoying complete uniformity of views on all bilateral regional and international issues, adding that Pakistan appreciated China’s steadfast support for Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. The former ambassador thanked the governor for Pakistan’s support in helping China built its relationship with the US, Saudi Arabia and other Gulf countries.
