Two matches were decided in the UCC Lahore Women Championship 2012 here at Model Town Ittefaq Ground on Wednesday.
In the first match, Ummah Club defeated Griffen College by four wickets.
Scores: Griffen College (89 runs for five). Noreen 10, Zubda Khan 10. Iqra Razzaq took two wickets. Ummah Club (92 for six in 10 overs). Sumbal Shahid and Mehreen Ali scored 18 runs each. Momina Hafeeze and Zubda Khan shared two wickets each. In the second match, Kinnaird Club beat Shining Women Club by eight wickets. Shining Club (81 runs for nine in 20 overs). Shakeela Rehman 19 and Maryam Shah 18. Sana Mir (captain) took three wickets, Anam Amin had two and Nimra Imran, Qanita Jalil and Bisma Maroof shared one wicket each. Kinnaird College (83 runs for two wickets in 11 overs). Nida Dar 37 not out, Qanita Jalil 16 and Bisma Maroof 23 not out.
