The city police claimed to have arrested 10 suspects, five outlaws and five proclaimed offenders from various areas of the city and recovered three pistols, hashish and looted items from them. According to details, assistant sub inspectors, Ali Asghar and Abrar Hassan of Tarnol police, nabbed Riaz Khan and Adnan and recovered two 30-bore pistols from them. ASI Shaukat Mehmud from Secretariat police recovered a 30-bore pistol from one Sohail Mehmood while ASI Ishtiaq Hussain from Shehzad Town police nabbed Imran and recovered stolen items from him.
Koral police nabbed a drug pusher, Kausar Mehmud, for having 225 grams of hashish. During search operations in the areas of Tarnol and Shehzad Town police stations, 10 suspects were arrested by special police teams. Meanwhile, five proclaimed offenders involved in crime cases of heinous nature were also arrested. CIA police arrested two proclaimed offenders while Industrial Area, Kohsar and Bhara Kahu police stations nabbed one proclaimed offender each.
