Families, who have lost their loved ones during accidents and violence in the city and feel that doctors could have saved their dear ones but were negligent, should attend a debate on the issue of “Saving Patients…Protecting Doctors” on Saturday at 10am at Liauqat National Hospital (LNH)’s main auditorium. According ot a press release, Dr Ishrat Saleem, press and media chairman for the 7th LNH Medical Symposium, said the debate is part of the symposium which starts from Feb 24 to 26. During the debate, way to create trust and understanding between doctors, patients and the bereaved family would be explored. It will also be discussed how the families of the deceased should handle their grief, anger and frustration.
