PM contempt case hearing adjourned till Feb 28

The Supreme Court (SC) adjourned hearing in contempt of court case against Prime Minister Yousuf Rza Gilani until February 28, a private news channel reported.
A seven-member bench, presided by Justice Nasir-ul-Mulk, was hearing the case.
As the hearing resumed, Attorney General Maulvi Anwarul Haq presented to the court evidence submitted earlier by the prosecution.
The documents included the National Reconciliation Ordinance primary verdict and the order on the subsequent review appeal by the federal government.
The court included the documents in the case records.
On February 27m, the PM’s counsel, Barrister Aitzaz Ahsan, will submit a list of witnesses along with their statements in the case. On February 28, a seven-member bench of the apex court, headed by Justice Nasirul Mulk, will examine the PM’s record.
