Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar on Tuesday said that Balochistan was Pakistan’s internal matter and it could only be solved by Balochistan Assembly not the US Congress.
While talking to scholars and senior analysts at the International Institute of Strategic Studies (IISS), Khar said that the resolution moved in the US Congress regarding Balochistan was unacceptable, adding that such a move could only aggravate Pakistan’s already estranged ties with US and distance the two allies even further.
She said that the bill was not only contrary to the principles of UN Charter and international law, but also the very fundamentals of the long-standing Pak-US relations.
Regarding ties with India, she said keeping the dialogue alive on top of exhibiting mature-sightedness would be the right thing to do for both neighbors.
Khar further said that the future of Pakistan and Afghanistan was associated with each other.
Going ahead, Khar tied Pakistan’s future with Afghanistan’s vowing unwavering support for peace process in the war-torn country.
She is raising her hand as if she wants to slap someone…but this is against modesty and woman should behave properly in Public Meetings…However how can she stand in a Public Meeting even this is not allowed…utterly irresponsible… Someone should slap her instead…give her a nice Hijab…
What is the use of foreign visits? What is your contribution madam?
All this can be done while sitting at home.
@Monty can't you tolerate a woman in power. A sarcastic remark to your sarcastic comment. You are doing a good as a Foreign Minister. Not that I am proud of your leadership; but you are an exception.
