WWF Pakistan embarked a mission to organise a tour of Nature Carnivals with an objective to undertake actions aimed at organising colourful and educational activities at all levels. Students of ROOTS SCHOOL SYSTEM 74-H/1, Model Town, Lahore, made their mark for the second year running by winning the third position in WWF NATURE CARNIVAL 2012. Rootsians displayed a ground-breaking and inventive project on the theme “Habitat conservation of endangered species, snow leopard, dolphin , green turtle“ and showed the significance of conservation, protection, restoration, and management of fish, wildlife, and native plants and to preserve and restore the ecosystems (including ecological processes) on which they depend. A panel of judges including experts on conservation and wildlife avowed the winners. Walid Mushtaq,ED RSS, congratulated the winners and RSS management for their triumph and appreciated the steps taken by WWF.
