Javed Iqbal, a Grade-22 officer in Police Group, took over as Director General of FIA here on Monday.
He replaces Grade-21 officer Syed Tehsin Anwar Shah, who assumed the charge of Director General of National Intelligence Bureau on Monday.
Javed Iqbal was earlier posted as Inspector General of Punjab Police.
