LAHORE – Pakistan Today launched its Khayaban-e-Amin Media Cup Cricket Tournament campaign with thumping nine-wicket win in the opening match of the event here on Wednesday.
Pakistan Today bowlers first restricted Khabrain to 26 for seven in five overs, and then reached the target in the third over for loss of just one wicket. Ibrahim, Shoaib, Yasir and Moneeb were notable performers.
In the other matches, Pakistan beat KTN by three runs, Duniya (77) defeated Samaa (53) by 24 runs, Nawa-i-Waqt (52) beat Al-Sharq (44) by eight runs while News One and Daily Express got walk overs as Daily Times and Geo News failed to turn up at the venue.
