Interior Minister Rehman Malik has said that Pakistan values its ties with Iran and relations between the two countries would be further strengthened. Talking to IRNA after the trilateral conference of Iran, Pakistan and Afghanistan, he said that the summit has provided an opportunity to discuss regional issues. He noted that Pakistan and Iran are like family members.‘Both countries share same history, religion and culture’, the minister underlined. He said that yesterday he met with President of Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in Islamabad.
