At least seven persons, including five women, were injured in collision between two vehicles here on Friday.
According to police, a Lahore bound mini truck owned by a private courier service coming from Sahiwal collided head-on with passenger van coming from Kasur at Kalma Chowk overhead bridge.
The passenger van turned turtle after the collision and struck an electric poll by roadside.
As a result of accident seven people, including five women, sustained injuries.
The police and rescue personnel reached the scene of the accident and shifted the injured to General Hospital for treatment.
The van driver responsible for the accident fled the scene after the incident.
The police took both the vehicles into custody.
